Well it's not a Yamaha but it is a four stroke. Picked it up today 06 FST Classic with M10. Could not justify the 13k for the Yamaha. No more coming home and smelling like a chain saw.

PX3 let me be the first to welcome you back to the polaris side of things. That kitty didn't last long in your garage. Enjoy your 2 extra strokes. Hope you enjoy the mileage and lack of smelly oil.

Congrats on the 4 stroke PX3. You will like it. Just want to get you straight on price though. The FST has 140 hp. The Yamaha Vector and Vector GT have 120 HP without a turbo. The performance is about the same. My dealer brought in 20 of them 3 weeks ago. They were 2006 new non current. 2 friends bought them. The vector was $8600 the vector GT was $8995. Both have 3 year Yamaha warranty bumper to bumper no mileage limit. If you wanted a 2007 you could buy them for about $1000 more plus get $500 in Yamma bucks for accessories. This is the more comparable sled to the FST.
Better check the numbers, cause I didnt even pay 13k for my Attak, and its got 150hps of FST spanking power. LOL If you want to compare it to the Apex which is 150hps, they are selling them for 10800 right now plus the promotions. I dont care what the list is nobody pays that.

Well Mr.Yamaha just to let you know the only sled in the yami line I was interested in was the 08 nitro and it with reverse is going to be over 13k with the man. Rode an APEX did not like how it felt, thing darted all over the trail, don't care for the Vectors and besides that the local dealer did not have any left. The only thing they had was a touring at 11k. I don't buy used anything. Plus I 'm going to buy the extended warranty so I will be covered bumper to bumper for the next 6 years. This is the sled that fit's me not you me. This my retirement sled and did not cost an arm and a leg. Ya it is not gods gift to the snowmobile world like the Yamaha but I like it. I also know the mechanic there plus I can ride to the dealer not trailer to the dealer. I bought it local at DEER COUNTRY. 7900.00 for a brand new sled with a great ride M10 can't beat it. It's a nice ride for these old bones.

Very nice looking sled PX3.........

They all seem to be looking so similar, but i guess that's the times for ya.
You said 7900 bucks?? I have a couple people looking into new sleds shortly, and that seems like a decent price range for one of those.

Let us know how it compares to your previous rides.....would be curious to know how the FST runs out as an overall machine.

I guess plus taxes, extra warranty, and all other fees still must have
pushed the price to at least 10,500?? Just curious......trying to crunch numbers...........was looking into the prices of Yami's, but didn't think they were high like that??

The F6 now belongs to Deer Country. It 2849 miles on it new spare belt and luggage bag went with it. I still have 6 1/2 inch bar risser, rumble pack and klymax seat wedge for it. Worse handling and no ride comfort in my mind. Tried to make it better just made it worse. They gave me 5k for it. Only paid 6.5 k for it. I hate selling on my own tooooo many tire kickers.

Hope you like the 4stroke PX3. Sent you a PM.

Hannibal, you should see if you can get the trade in price. I love my F6 and got an F7 coming too. The Firecat needs aftermarket skis and some tweaking but mine handles and rides great, totally flat in the corners. The higher seats on the 05 and 06 is nice too.

The seat wedge I have will take care of the hieght problem very easy to install. 100 bucks takes it. They also recomend a 6 1/2 inch riser which I also have. 20 bucks.

Nice machine PX3 congratulations, I really like the IQ chassis. I think it is a great trail sled. I rode a lot with a buddy this winter on an IQ cleanfire and she likes the twisties, lakes, and is smooth in the air. I love the front end too.

How long a track it got?

PX3, six year warranty on the track? Sounds too good to be true. Um, not to be mean but you only had the last sled for one year, so why get a 6 year warranty....................I am forseeing a new sled next spring for you again..........

Not much is covered after the first year, thats what I found. There are some doubts as to whether the company will be around for 6 years so I guess they can offer 10 year if they want. LOL
