Niel at Lakeway is installing a bike valve in the housing to let out the water. I'll try to get a pic up for you soon.

Sounds cool MM.
The new poos have this already but I was gonna do it to my 400.JB had told me it was very easy to do and alot of people just do it themselves. Is this somethin that takes the dealer days to do?Just wonderin cause I know some people that need this mod.Lastly, do you have an idea what they will charge for this drain?:thnx:

Apparently it can be done very quickly. And I'm sure Niel won't charge very much for it. He really is a good quad mechanic. I have had excellent results with everything he's done. I would recommend him to anyone! Even non Kawis.
The belt replacement will be a little more, hopefully under warranty. After all it's the leaky housing that caused the belt to fry.
My only concern is, where is it going to go? There doesn't seem to be allot of room on the housing.

I assume that this "bike Valve" is a tire valve stem that you are refering too? If it is I think it is an awsome idea. :cool2: Dont forget to put a valve cap with stem removal tool on the valve:D

We changed our minds about the bike valve stem, it stuck out too far. It's a flush mounted boat haul drain bolt plug. Works like a charm. I will try to get a digital shot of it up soon.
