wow, what a night. kinda glad I went, it solidified my thoughts of not ordering any new sled this year. The only thing I want is that bombi spyder bike... that thing was cool.

Hats of to Hooters for taking such good care of us last night. The two Hooter girls that were on the bus even rode back to PlaP with us on there own time and expense. Great time had by all!!

Didn't see anything there that really got me exited...not sure what it was like when everyone else was there but but when I was there the poor souls over at the Polaris camp looked like they had a bad disease or something..there was like nobody checking out there new Poo's. I did get over and check out the new 600RR...yup for over $13,000 I can't see myself ever owning one of those...just a tad uncomfortable..I did like the 40th anniversary colours on the Yammies though...

I'd take the nitro over the apex. Nice sled,great for our garbage trails that are only groomed for two weeks out of the year. One of the guy's I ride with is ordering the apex lxr 16k. Lucky bugger he got the cash may as well ride the best. I like them too but I'm cheap, besides that I want to buy a new quad late fall or early next year.

Their both nice Rob, its a toss up! 20 extra Hp or 100lbs less? So far I'm thinking Nitro with 136 track extention but the Ohlins on the LTX or what ever it is would be sweet. Its got the same suspension as my 2005 RX-1 which I am absolutely impressed with once it is set up but the new Apex has piggy back Ohlins in the front and the electric mono shock in the back. Mine had the remote adjust but electric mono ohlins would be whicked. The shouck are worth the extra 2 GG's alone and it comes with the 136....

Tough call I think the Apex will win? my vote anyway...

I would guess you won't need the 136 extention on the nitro, it has less weight and it will probably be as good in the deep snow as the Attak. Its almost impossible to get my Attak stuck the way its set up, and I dont see the short track nitro being worse. There may be a nitro in my garage next year also.

What happens on the bus stays on the bus. I will say that it was refreshing to actually see some hot hooter girls for once. these two were pretty darn easy on the eyes! Fun too!

If I had to order a sled this year, I dont know what it would be...Yammies are alright..just lacking in torque, Ski Doos XP didnt impress me when we rode it twice and raced it on two different occasions after it was massaged.

Cat, well I still think the tony stewart F8 looks better than the new ones. The black on the F series looks way to blah. Crossfire looks good but the ride of them is no where near the F series.

Guess I will be tony for another year.
