Has any one put a Highlifter clutch kit in.
I am having trouble with the little spring.
I think they are called wet clutch springs.
Also can I borrow a spring compressor.
I should have mad eoone last time but didn't get the material. :dong:

I put the wet spring on and then slide all the weights on to the backplate, make sure everything is seated properly. As for the spring compressor I borrowed one that was for a snowmobile primary and made it work.

I think so. Not positive I will look, the instructions said to put the springs on with the weights on the back plate but I found that impossible.

So what did you do then?

I put them on with the weights off the backplate and slide the weights on the blackplate with the springs already attached.

With the HL clutch kit, how did you find the performance? Very noticable change? Do you get more topend or lowend power?
THanks

spinning 28" mudzilla's in the deep goo power. Lost top end speed, I like the way it pulls with the big tires this way. If I wanted speed I would have bought a sport quad.

Vinnie now has a H/L clutch kit instaled.
I just have to go and test drive it.
I did the same thing with the springs, Lifted the weights attached the springs then pushed them back down.
I have a pic of what I found in is clutches that I will download later.:cool2: :humbs: :hihi:
