1) You can't see the beginning of the race
2) There is no sound, scratch that there is sound.
3) Who knows the mods on each, tires play a massive roll
4) The grizzly will never smoke or come close to the brute, lol. A stock '07 is close to a 800 bomb, a '07 with cdi is faster than a bomb up to about 300 feet
5) Who knows how long they were racing, who races for a mile? I race for short distances like all racers do.
Interesting video none the less, bring it on LE.

You serious BB a stock 07 750 with CDI will take a Bomb in the first 300 ft?
I just put my PXT's on and I got ZERO traction... LOL

too funny..
This is from the guy swho shot the vid..
"In this first video we have my Grizz VS VTPrairie's Brute 750. The Grizz has 4 Kodiak weights and is running 26" Swampfoxes on 12" ITP SS112 rims. The Brute has a clutch kit, a Dynatech, and is running 27" XTR's on 14" ITP Type 7's. The Brute did beat the Grizz after...but not by a mile like many seem to think...only a length or two...depending on start."
Had to get your guys goin lol!

Most cowwie guys around here dont ride so we cant see how fast they are.Highway is the best ,way to drag race all things are equal .Its seems every ride we go on we test a highway drag of some sort .HHMMM maybe thats why the cowwie guys dont come out to PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last race we had we were almost neck and neck, you with a passenger and stock tires. Me, with my crappy dyna cdi 27" tires and my quad weighed more at the time than your limo. Want to try again?

1) That race was not to fair. The driver of the Brute was 350 lbs compared to the 180 of the driver of the Grizzly. The start was good from our end.
2) There is sound as you discovered.
3) The mods are listed below.
4) My grizzly 700 clearly comes in at 1-2 lengths behind that brute. These videos are just a "knock back to reality" for all "The grizzly will never smoke or come close to the brute, lol" crowd.
5) We all guestimated 300 feet. We could be off 20 feet tops...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Machines Involved -
Grizzly 700 - Pod Mod, Holes in airbox and cage modded, 4 Kodiak clutch weights, 26" Swampfox's on ITP SS112's, Rox Risers, Rox PowerMad Handguards, and Trail Tech X-Bars. No winch or front rack.
Brute Force 750 - 27" XTR 14 kit, Dyna CDI, TwinAir Setup, Winch, and cargo box.
Prairie "650" - It's a 700. Ricochet skid plate, DG snorkle, 26" Mudlites, jetted, needles shimmed, Twin Air Powerflo filter, Dynatek CDI, Muzzy full exhaust system, ODI grips, Works struts, Web 150i cams, BF750 crank, Wiseco 11.5:1 82mm pistons, heads cleaned up, and winch.
LT 160 - All stock. Snorkel kit and roll cage not needed...yet.
I've now took those other videos down...so there is no question.
This video actually shows that the Grizz averaged 1-2 lengths behind the Brute. In this video I'm about to show you of all the races...watch the Grizzly VS Brute videos numbers 2 and 3. Those ones had no serious weight advantage. Videos number 1 and 4 clearly did.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPB70SQLvEk
Enjoy!
Conclusion: Prairie was fastest...then Brute....then Grizzly (and not by far :surrender:).

Ill take that. If I get any where close to you with a machine with only 686cc's I would be impressed. Topend I would get killed. 300 foot race, I bet only 3-4 bike lengths. Come to the duel, we need as many machines as possible. Obviously the machines are going to place in accordance to there cc size.

Hey LE...I'd bet you come closer than 3-4 lengths in 300 feet. As long as you take care of that mid range miss you are having.
I'm gonna try just a tip with a Power Commander maybe. I am also considering a EPI full kit.
To bad you guys' little duel wasn't closer to Montreal...I'd make it a point to go and participate.

Sounds like we need a Trackshare ride. Some trail, mud, hills and road then will see who out performs who.

This actually sounds interesting. Driver performance/experience would make the biggest difference. Going through my famous creek in Richer, I was absolutley impressed to see how my brother handled with the same bike. He could get through that creek in probably half the time as I can. A competition would be a good learning experience for most. Even different mud requirs a different approach/ridding style to conqour.
