'05 650 V2 ?

I'm lookin at gettin a quad and need the dirt on this machine...
From what I've read the '04 and '05 were a little under geared and need clutching right out of the box.
Any pros or cons?
What do you guys/gals think?

Clutch it right and know when to ask for a winch to save the belt.
The last year AC offered the 650, it had 4:1 gears versus 3:6 gears. I believe that was 06. 27" Bugs or Zillas should do the trick depending on your riding style. Just my opinion.

A v2 is a very nice quad, they are more of a ferrari compared to most quads lots of top end power, the gearing was fine on mine with some 27" mud lites it would max out the speedo i never to this date know how fast it went 120 plus...:cheers: Very nice quad only problem i had with moine was blowing belts, but other then that there a very nice quad.
