Copy iPod songs to hard drive

Has any one used software to copy songs from an iPod to computer hard drive if so what and were did you get it (Free would be Good)

Are you trying to put songs onto Itunes or save it in a folder in your hard drive

working on it , may be a little bit. I got about 20 G,s that need to go into my qcd player .

trying to take from an iPod and copy to my harddrive

I made a new folder on my desk top then pluged in the pod with out opening I tunes, and you have to make sure I tunes does not boot up when your pod couples up or it will try and Sync. Next I used windows explorer to find my I pod as a external hard drive. I opened it up and copied and pasted the music into the folder I created. The music is labled funny but when you put it back into I tunes on your pc It will lable it self correctly. All you have to do now is drag and drop the folder into the Itunes program and it will take care of it's self.
