Gee, if you had posted this message a few years ago I had a '52 Willys CJ-3A and a ton of '46 2A parts(my parts jeep was one of the rare '45-'46 3-on-the-tree shifter). I got nothing left except for the front crossmember & front bumper.
Look in the Winnipeg white pages for a guy by the name of Allan Sayak in Southdale. He bought my Willys & all my parts. He's a Willys nut. If not, look up on the internet, Northstar Willys. They're based north of Minneapolis. They bought out all of Louis Larson's Willys Mpls stock when Louis retired about 4 years ago. They'll have a ton of re-pro parts and or project jeeps kicking around. Louis works for Northstar part time. He's forgotten more about flat fenders than anyone in 500 mile area knows about them.
Classic Enterprises out of Barron, WI is making floor pans, wheel houses and seat risers for the flat fenders (civilian only) if you need some quality body parts. Stay away from the Taiwanese crap, most of it is cheap knock-offs that won't fit properly.
I may know of a '46 still floating around south of here. Though the body was pretty banged up last I had seen it. I'll see if I can find out what happened to it if you're interested.
Gotta love a flat-fender! :D

Remember though, until '49 the 2a's had the Dana 41-2 rear axles. They were a very weak design, even worse than the '42-'45 MB's Dana 25 full-floater rear. The M-38/3a's all had from '49-'52 Dana 44's in the rear. These axles were overkill on a 1/4 ton truck. :cool2:
