I got a 50cc last summer. Took a week longer for shipping than he said. One wheel bearing was pressed in too hard, but an easy fix with a hammer. All wheels wobble at high speed(not from the hammer), but tops out at about 25 mph on pavement which is too fast. Other than that, no problems. Could use more bottom end, even for my 7 yr old daughter. It doesn't have enough torque(I'm 150lbs) to do continuous donuts on the gravel, but the driveway was alot of fun in winter. My girlfreind weighs 95, and drives the shi- out of it! It's a riot! I'm thinking of getting the 110 mini hummer, looks like it's got more bottom end and ground clearance in the video. Front brakes would be nice

Ive baught piles of those pocket bikes, and mini atvs, fom the vancouver ebayer, they are built crappy, but for a couple hudred buck, cheap enough to throw away. parts for the giovanni bike from the ebay guy, are easy to get parts for, there is a parts market website for them, one in canada and one in the US.
They are cheap built, but are fun while they last. There are some easy installl trck parts for them as well, ie. timing keys and pipes for them

I bought a 90cc mini hummer for my girls and had one problem with the seat but the couple(from Rosenort) got me a new seat in about a week at no cost and delivered to my door.Great people to deal with and the quads workin great.

we have a 110cc Hummer - not sure if it's the same one someone mentioned...the only problem we have is the battery is always dying - it must be getting a draw from somewhere... we also have a 90cc but I'm not sure who makes it...both are OK machines for beginners..

We bought a 110cc mini hummer and the kids love it. We bought it on ebay (new) from allstarsalez and they delivered very fast. They have a 99% approval rating on almost 38,000 transactions, so we figured we'd take a "chance". You really have to double check all the bolts and nuts, but other than that, it works great! We paid about $565, that's including exchange (at the time the dollar was about $.92) shipping and taxes. Tandr2, make sure the kids turn the key off, mine have done that a few times, that'll kill the battery fast.

Yup - they do - we got a new battery from GL Mechanical on Friday and Robin made sure everything was off - even charged it all night - went to start it at St. Jean and it was dead.. on Sunday we ended up borrowing cables from Zert800 and got it going for her.

That's frustrating, especially considering that they don't have a pull/kick start as a backup. When ours has died, i boost it and as long as they ride around for awhile it seems to charge it back up. If mine starts doing that I'll hang a plug off of the battery and make myself a 6 foot jumper cable that I can quickly plug into my Grizz. I already have a plug on the Grizzly and my wifes Honda for our float chargers (great for the colder months when batteries don't hold a charge for too long!)

robin wants to change the ignition to a switch and it's either on or off

The only problem is that alot of small batteries don't hold a charge for very long regardless, you might want to consider a float charger from crappy tire, I love mine, I have two and they work great. I don't need to use them in summer, but in the winter, the are irreplaceable! You always got a fresh battery with a float charger!

sold lots of giovanni bikes(allstar sales) and only had a few issues with them, panterra`s have been really good as well as the yamoto`s,the key to keeping these machines going is to check and tighten all hardware, most issues we had with them is loose and missing hardware,it also depends where you buy the machine, when i use to sell them i would check all hardware during pdi.

I bought a Giovanni 50cc quad for my boy. You get what you pay for, but it's a great way to get him started on a quad. He loves it, and I've had no issues with it as of yet.

Does anyone know how to go about registering a Chinese built ATV in the province of Ontario. I have heard that registration requires legal proof of importation in the form of something called a Form 1? Has anyone been successful in registering a machine purchased on ebay from allstarsalez?

you see all these bigger qauds that are not a well known brand and i would say its prolly best to stay away from the bigger ones..kids ones seem to be fine..but the big ones would prolly just snap in half after going over a bump...cheap steel. JMO

It all boils down to get what you pay for, and with anything knock off its a crap shot.

I have a New 2007 50cc here, full warranty, extented is Available $1695.00

**We do work on the Chinese machines alot!!!, too many people just trying to save a buck..........We even sold some of the pit bikes for 2 years. NO MORE TOO MUCH WARRANTY!!!

**Panterra is not a bad brand as far as the knock off's go, but watch the chain will rub a hole in transmission if it gets loose**

ive ridden the 150cc and once you get to top speed it just shakes and feels like its about to fall apart and it is hard to find parts for them
