Kawi if you like to ride hard and fast but like to mod things and have snorkles.
Yami if you like to ride hard and fast enough but dont like to mod things.
It all boils down to how you ride and what you need to mod on each bike to suit your riding style. I know how you ride and I think the kawi would be a pain in the ass for you. The yami is the way to go for you ray and for most people, sad to say.

It all depends on the kind of riding you want to do I suppose. Myself, I bought the yamaha bigbear 400 and it fits my needs. The thing I like about it the most is it is light and easy to handle. Downside, when the big dogs stretch their legs, it usually gets left in the dust.

got myself the grizz 700 SE and think it's awsome. Yamaha has been a very reliable bike for us and very low maintenance.

Really depends on how you ride bro, I would say both bikes are great but like Bertam said if u mod or not according to your riding style will make the difference. I ride with both a Yammi and Kawi, personally I would go with the 750i Kawi the Yammi's get wet belts soon as they do water wheelies because of the low cluch intake in the back. I'm impressed with the Kawi's for riding and power.

Yamaha 700's no longer have the belt intake on the back.. Everythign is router high on the front so you can accually hit rack deep water and be OK.. Deeper if you wheely it.

The '06 650i was special, the '07 750 is the same now and even better. If you get a 750 get an 07, if you get a 650 an 06.

Do either of them come with a roll cage option? Sorry, my bad. LMAO!! What are the warranty differences between them? Which comes from a dealer you can trust? Those would be the deciding factors for me,all are real nice bikes.
 GRIZZ!!!!!!!!

aint that the truth HRL.... can you say MUD
Well I rode both the Kawi 750 and the Grizz 700 before I bought my Brute Force I love the power of the Kawi it just hauls I had a 660 Grizz before I like the ride of the Kawi better. The power steering is nice on the Yamaha but in my eyes not that huge of a deal. Only thing I maybe wish the BF had was fuel injection other than that very happy with my Kawi BF 750.
So I would say Kawi but that is just my opinon >:)
