Explorer and Myself would be interested for a Sunday ride. Is hunting still happening for Saturdays? Some time ago it was mentioned about an escorted (and with permission) ride to the Pioneer's Cabin from the TV show. Just an idea.

I have not been there yet.....I understand it is in the vicinity of Argyle.....exact location I do not know. I will try to contact the folks I know who rode over that way and see if I can get a good description of the route. I will try to get back to you by Friday p.m at the latest.

Well, we rode from the Anola area to Seven Sisters, on the snomo trails, about 90 miles round trip. We mostly followed the hydro lines. We hit some good bog north of 44. There was a layer of ice, up to about an inch thick, which made it tough to get traction. BigBrute had his front end up on the ice, and the back end down and pushing. My bike basically fell through right away and plowed through like an icebreaker. We did find some pretty deep holes that needed a little help to get through. The ice factor was the major thing that slowed us down. All in all, an excellent ride. Sorry, no pics.

Nice ride report Whisky700. We ended up riding the Riding Mountain trail on Sunday. We also had similar conditions. On this trail you cross many creeks, fortunately they are not very deep as we almost always broke through the ice of 1.5" -2" thick. It did get a little tough going when you broke through and it was a mud hole underneath as the mud was not frozen  That water was awfuly cold on the hands when hooking winches though. It was really quite different riding with the trail frozen as opposed to being slick.

Wait till it snows!! Then its really fun, I love riding on lakes and rivers when they are frozen.
