Have any of you tried the sandilands out SE of stienbach?
heard about it today, went to the conservation office and
picked up some fairly crude maps of the trails.
looks like they have a fairly big trail system
and a campground right at the entrance to many of the trails
just a roadside pull out type of thing, not managed or nothing
but sounded ok, ATV and bikes and whatnot are allowed
open summer and winter,
sleds and skiing in the winter
a popular place they say
just wondering if any of you had ever been there.
???

That's where I go for weekends. Live between Vita and Piney. Do alot of riding in the Sandilands area. There's alot of good trails to ride, and Woodridge is a good place to stop for a bite, fuel, and a beverage. There's lots of good riding to do out there. I'm sure we'll be heading out there soon once the temperature comes up.:humbs:
