My winch bracket is supposed to be on the way too. I hope this week but probably next week. Sucks having no winch.

This is something you have to expect with a new model, not sticking up for the dealer but if they can't get the brackets then they can't get them.

The States will always receive the equipment first no matter what it is and we will always receive it well after they have. They have no control over Warn and when they send the brackets to Canada.

Just my 2 cents! I guess we just have to have patience or move to the States?

I am glad that the winches are in and I do agree that it was a abnormally long time for the brackets.

I understand that it is possible that with new models they may have the delay......but as for sticking up for the dealer....i have a problem with that......if they knew they couldnt deliver then dont advertise as such and i personally would not of purchased had i known i would have to wait that long.......In other words dont try to sell something you cant deliver.....they should of checked first instead of giving me the bull line of

"it will be in by the end of the week"

just so they wouldn't loose the sale ....instead they made an unhappy customer ......and we know what that means.

This is how it went down. The winch brackets were supposed to be in on time until a flaw was found. The dealers don't know more than the average customer, they are told EVERYTHING last. I think the brackets were designed wrong and was causing problems with the quad when used.

The brackets were redesigned so they would not cause the problem. This was the delay and the dealer didn't know about this.

Now you know the situation, I hope you can understand.

Yes....but i hope you undertsand....i have a business to run as well which depends on the winch............either way i was put in a situation and at no time did i blame the dealer.....but i did buy it from them and as a result i was forced to deal with them as they declined to provide me with the appropriate info for the Rep and when asked to have him call me.....he did not.......I should of heard what you told me from him first.........again that did not occur...........perhaps then the frustration should be directed to WARN.......but again I did not buy the product from WARN.

A few years ago a certain snowmobile dealer made the financial mistake of not taking us ( me and my wife ) seriously as potential customers. We stated we were getting into snowmobiling...needed two midrange machines, a trailer, and all the accessories in the clothing dept. They basically ignored us and it cost them in the range of a $ 20,000.00 sale. Now I don't know what his profit would have been from that sale but they do pay attention to us when we drop into their shop every now and again. Needless to say that particular salesman does not work there anymore....

I think your taking offence to something, that wasn't intended in any way.

You think the dealer was holding out on you or something? Thats how it sounds.

When you get your winch bracket don't be to disapointed in it, lol. I hear they are pretty cheesy, I haven't seen one but someone say on another forum he bent his.

Cool stuff, my quad is going to the dealer in Brandon. Your thinking of Brett, the guy that was in the passenger seat in my truck. He bought his in Headingly too, Bakes is his name in this forum.

I hope my winch bracket makes it in next week, not to mention mounting brackets for the snow plow. Did you say you bought a snow blower? What did that cost? A snow blower would be awesome on the front of the quad but so would a blade lol.

Yeah I am glad the snow has been holding off too, I clear about 20 driveways a winter and I told the guys at Headingley that I really need that winch for the snow aspect. Also it is down right sad when I get stuck in the mud and can not even get my own quad out, lol. I am taking my quad in Monday morning too for the winch, maybe I will see you there big brute?

I would love to get a snow blower for the quad but that would take all the fun out of making big snow mounds in the yard. I would like to make a jump in the yard this year and then send bbertram over it, he can do it he can do anything right Brent!!!
