did anyone hear that a new honda dealer will be built on mcphillips on the north end sometime soon? i heard it will be brand new, the recreational division with outboards, quads, and all the toys? i heard this today and wonder if its true or not?

It would be nice to have some options. Not knocking Wpg. Sport & Liesure by any means, but, anybody remember Northwest Cycle? Harstone Honda? Redekop Outdoor Centre? Oh what was that one on St. Annes?

I remember Northwest Cycle. That's going back a few years. That's making me remember how old I am. Yeah, thanks, thanks alot. LOL

I was told last year that all honda products will be sold out of one store,cars, trucks (hehe), quads,bikes etc....makes a ton of sence to me

It's not a truck. Kinda like the Avalanche is not a truck. Truck-Like, but not a truck nonetheless.

i watched a review on the Speed channel... if you load the Honda truck (cough cough) up to it's load capacity it's sitting on the bump stops on the rear suspension & it takes some unbelievably ridiculous amount more time to stop & accelerate... but that's off topic...

i have a client who used to sell Honda quads etc... he was telling me that Honda has some big plan to move all the atv sales into the car dealerships. sounds like a pretty dumb idea to me.

Can't imagine buying a quad off of a car salesman that has no clue about them. Don't get me wrong, if they are educated about quads all the power to you. But you know there's going to be the guy that reading to you out of the owners manual. No thanks. Unless they had them in the same building but seperated with different salesmen and parts guys.

ah, its not rocket science to sell a quad there bud !! just b/s tell the buyer whatever he or she wants to hear....when when it breaks, say sorry our warranty dosnt cover that !!

or the best one ....this is the first time i've ever heard of this happening,but yes he have 8 in stock !!!

i bet 90 % of us has heard something like that anyway

That's where my dad bought his first bike from,I used to love going in there.guess I'm getting old also if I remember that place.

I heard from a good source it is happening and will be owned by the Dilawri group! but of course it is still a rumor! and what do you mean a carsalesmen can't sell quad's!

yup, thats what i heard also, just never posted it to see if someone else heard the same thing. and my source is the best you can have also! lol!!

There was a press release a few months back stating Honda car dealerships would be combined with motorcycle/power products. Not sure when that is taking effect. Thats Canada wide.

I get my Honda (ATV) parts from Westside in Selkirk.
