Cabins

Never done the cabin rental thing and been thinking about renting one later this summer. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Looking for something that can accommodate a family of 4. Has a nice close beach. Maybe some shore fishing in the area. relaxing atmosphere , Place to kick back and have a fire in the evenings and whatever else you may suggest..

Lake Manitobas Narrows Lodge has some really nice cabins, plenty roomy for a family. Fairly short drive from your place, 2 and a little bit hours?

Otter Falls. Rented one there a couple years back and it was very nice.
Beach and swimming area, shore fishing, boat rentals,restaurant, fire pit and some awesome fishing all around. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

been to all three of those..blue lake is the clearest lake i've ever seen, but otter is my choice , 45 min door to door

Kilman Cottages at Lake of tthe Prairies, Mb. they have hot tubs, quad trials close by, good fishing, boat launch, but the beach needs some work...

Ramco if your looking for a nice stay I would tell you Jessica Lake, they have Hot Tubs, Dry Sauna's, nothing better then waking up to the sounds of "loons" (not your spouce)

Riverview Lodge is nice as well, however the guy who owned it this winter just sold it (Pat) what a good guy he is:friday:

And lastly Brereton Lake Resort is also a nice one to stay at.

Falcon Lake Right by the ski hill.... I forget the name, but they are sweet !

i've got a friend that's renovating a cottage right now at Falcon... he wants to have it ready for rental for this summer... might be worth looking into... 3 bedrooms... bathroom... really close to the lake.

i really like otter falls. i stayed in the camp ground not the cabins though. fishing right off the beach at dusk was awesome, every cast i was catching a big walleye!!!! nothing better!

look at high wind lake , they rent cabins, fishing is probably the best out of any lake in the whiteshell or lake of the woods. Secluded no cabins on any of the lakes.Plus quad friendly .
