well i get some tunes from win mx.it's pretty good. as for burning songs . what program do you have? i have nero.if you have the same one. open it on your desktop. you will see some choices given, choose music.then pick audio cd, or what ever format you want. that will change the screen,...click "add" that will bring you to "my music" choose your song then drag it to the open box on the "add" screen.when done picking songs click next, then burn ..voila! you will probably screw up a couple times before you get it right, that's normal..you'll get it :D

hey hot wheels i forgot to answer your first question. when you down load tunes it should automaticly go into "my music" but sites may vary from eachother.if it don't go there on it's own ,it should ask you where you want to save the download.at that point choose "my music"

downloading is not instant, that still takes abit to get a song, but what i meant was when you do a search it seams to get the list very quickly. and the download flow is more consistant than win mx. i like it!

I am with Medic2. LimeWire works great. I switched to it when WinMX quit working. Does WinMX still work for you straightpipe? Sure don't for me. Maybe my computer?

--Scroll down the page and Click on "Windows"

lime wire is the best (my opinion ) I even like it better than the old napster (RIP) I have about 6000 songs and installed lime wire about 2 months ago . the cool thing with limewire is you can download music genres ,genres is types of music like rock , punk , blues country etc . Plus tons of video ,pictures and the like .
Have fun
How do i move music from the "Library" to my shared folder??????? My Shared Folder is my default where the files should go, but they're not leaving the library..............
Is this normal????? I can't even select a file and move it to my shared folder..............hhhhmmmmm, not sure about this one.... thought it should automatically go there and then i can clear them from the library........
Help me limewire dudes!!!

you can specify any folder for limewire , vidoe , audio , software ,
go to tools , options and put your stuff wherever you want it
you may want to create folders for your music (vides/porn) etc
another awesome thing about this site is it puts incomplete downloads into a separate folder so you can delete the crap
Humbug!!!!!!!!! I think i'm gonna lose it!!! Gonna SNAP!!!!!
Somehow still can't move the tunes from library to folder. I right click on the tune but there is no option to move it there....... even if i go to tools, options, can't actually move a tune to a folder......
Maybe i'm just missing something. I'll keep at it until computer goes through window........LOL.

jayb, close lime wire and find the tunes on your hard drive. do a search for one on the song names and it will bring you too that folder.
Once your in that folder sellect al the songs you want to move and then cut and paste it to where ever or whatever folder you want them to goto.
I don't know if limewire is suppost to have a function for you to move songs between the folders you mentioned but that'll work.
K......think i have it now. Searched for the folder name, and it came up. Have been putting tunes into "new folder". Came up on the search. Now i'll have to go from there.....
Thanks Ramco!!!!
And no, the computer never made it out the window...lol!!!

Here's what I do....
First install a Torrent client, I use uTorrent (click to go to download site) (http://www.utorrent.com/download.php)
Once that's installed and running, open your internet broswer and go to http://btjunkie.org (http://btjunkie.org/)
Use the search to find whatever you want.... and then click the bright green title box to download the file...... then open it with uTorrent. It should ask you where to save the file. It doesn't automatically delete upon completion, it insteads "seeds" it with other users (shares it). You can choose to delte the torrent or continue seeding it. As long as the file is 100% complete, it doesn't really matter.
I'm assuming that from here that you can burn a CD, if not just re-post!
