East Borderland Community Housing Inc. is a registered non profit local organization that I belong to, and we are launching a wild fund raising idea on 2/22/2008. I will be manning a donation table tomorrow 2/22/2008 at the Clearsping Mall in Steinbach from about 11 am to about 4 or 5 pm for anyone who wants to make their donation in person. So please read the balance of this post and help us out.

Donate $2.00 and make a difference in someone's life! This is your good deed for the day.

We are enlisting the help from people all over the world to donate $2.00 to East Borderland Community Housing Inc. (EBCH); an organization raising funds for seniors' housing in a small village located in the R.M. of Piney at Sprague MB, southeast corner of Manitoba Canada. The goal is to raise 2.2 million. We are only asking for a $2.00 donation, but we would of course be appreciative of any greater amount that you may wish to give. Donate now and be a part of this wild 222 campaign, include your whole household and your names will be recorded in a commemorative book.

Just trying to:floor_jack: everyone up so you can say :yes: and take a moment to make this Friday one to celebrate. :friday: So hop on board :scooter: and help us foat our :boat: . The entire S.E. area needs more senior homes. By helping make ours a reality, it will mean seniors from our area will not be using spaces :wheelchair: in other facilities and thereby making easier for all local seniors to stay closer to their home areas. This will make everyone :clap: . So be an :angel:



I'm at the the Clearspring Mall today if you want to stop by and drop of a toonie.

Where was everyone? I was lonely at the mall in Steinbach. Now is the time to go to http://www.ebch.ca and make your donation. It's only 2 bucks, unless you want to make it more.

According to Wikipedia the population of MB is 1,190,400. So it is doable by Manitoban's alone. With websites like Track Share with a membership of over 4 thousand, and email contacts, it should not be that difficult to reach millions of people all over the globe, (we hope).

No. What I'm saying is 4060 (Trackshare members) - a few = 4055 people left.
That would mean $8K to our project.

Almost 300 people have viewed this thread, and if one had donated $2 that would be $600. Some might say what is $600 when you need $2.2 M. But this campaign in one week has generated about $12 K. Not bad after a week, but we need more.

OK, now I'm begging! Take a couple of minutes and go to http://www.ebch.ca and donate a couple of bucks. Every little bit helps. It is now 2 weeks since we've launched this campaign and I'm surprised how little has been donated by TrackShare members. Do you feel guilty yet. LOL

All of you will be happy to hear that I won't bug you anymore with this campaign. But keep an eye on our website for our annual golf tournament held at Buffalo Point. The tentative date is late June, but we may be changing it to early to mid July.
