Hey Guys,

Today's Camp Hughes ride just didn't work out, but I was thinking of a ride tomorrow somewhere close to the city, as a starting point. We always used to drop at the floodway but that's a :nono: now with the construction, so where's my next best bet for some trails and some mud? North is the easiest for us to get out, and most times off 59 there is some good riding, so is there a spot to go from let's say the 59'er?

Any help would be great!!

Thanks

Mars sand hills has some nice trails and some good mud areas to play in,it about 20 mins orso north on hwy 59 then turn on 317.Turn where the sign is to the golf coarse and park just down on that road.

Which way off of 59? 317 goes east and west...sorry...pretty new to that whole area. Sounds exactly what were looking for...is it easy to find the trail entrance?

East off 317( it's the hwy to Lac du Bonnet ) about 10 mins or so there will be a sign on your right hand side about the golf coarse thats where you will turn. There are trails on both sides of that road and also on the other side of 317 .

You drop off at springhill and ride the pits east of the ski hill by the oasis there are some decent trails back there. You can ride the floodway but be carefull and watch for equipment.

Ya, rode those pits way too many times...gets a little boring after awhile, but not heading out today now anyway...something about that fresh inch of snow sitting on the quads makes me just want to sit inside and be a sissy!! :(
