Well Bushbabe1984 invited me to go help her and some fellow peeps to put a net over the spawning grounds of the walleye or where they come down to or from anyways LOL. they do this so the birds and bears don't get the ones that get caught in the rocks on the one side.

It was a blast had the two choco labs out with us to help out. Had a blast but I need to go back when they are running.

thats nice to see that someone is trying to help the walleye to the spawning grounds, quite unlike the "DIPSTICKS" that would rather throw their net across the river.

Yes it's on pineridge and i would say lower but i could be wrong :yes:

Thanks for posting this up ILT! It may not stop the idiots who come out and scoop up the fish with nets but it stops the ones that get stuck in the rocks from getting killed! I went up there for the first time alst year to watch the Walleye run and it was really one of the most amazing sites! So anything that I can do to help keep our walleye population up is a pleasure! It was a good way to start the day too and the dogs had a great time playing with sticks and barking at us!

We have a few creeks here that are smaller, and u can actually stand over top the fish, and watch them. There are some guys here that like to snag alot of fish while they're doing their thing, and that blows...

Haven't checked to see if they're running yet. Only a couple weeks away till fishing, so hopefully they're moving right now.:cheers: :cheers: Can't wait for opening day...........mmmm......fresh walleyes.........shore lunch..........in the woods............far from anywhere..............now that's living.lol.
