Very sad and unfortunate indeed.
I wonder if the employer had thier employees, including this poor individual take a course for operating a quad ? I know some employers offer it, some make it mandatory and a lot others don't bother. If this has become a Workplace Safety and Health issue I would think there will be a lot more quad operator training taking place.
My condolences to the family, friends and co-workers.

This is very tragic and my thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends.I'm sure that an investigation will follow, with suggestions for safe operating procedures, one of which should be working with a partner for safeties sake.

Hard hearing about accidents like this, my condolences to the family. I totally agree with outlaw that working with a partner should be common practice, even just if you are out riding should never go it alone.
