Hello,
I have a 16horse, single cyl, Vertical drive Briggs that seized on me. My question is: is it worth rebuilding? What would it cost? Are kits available? How much labour?
I would like to make my lawn mower last a bit longer before i replace it. Any tips would be great....

Is this a over head valve? If so i believe I have a short block for it

Yes it is an ohv.

I don't know how good a quadder Two Stroke is? But when it comes to small engines he is dam good.

I stoped in at Princess Auto on saturday--they have brand new 18 horse vertical shaft briggs ohv engines on sale for around $500.00
