Spruce Woods riding

I am taking my family camping at Spruce woods camp ground [kichi manitou] Anybody know if there is easy access to trails for quading in the area? if so how do you get there? can you take the quad right from the campground or do you have to load it and take it there?
Or is anybody riding in the area this weekend?

I may be wrong but I don`t think you are allowed to ride anywhere in spruce woods espescialy the desert part .Like I said I may be wrong.

You can ride, just not on the side that the camp ground is on unfortunately, and the ditch run from there is horrible, so best to trailer to the unload spot anyway....not to mention just starting your quad in the campground can get you a warning, as my buddy found out...lol..and the GF for getting caught riding in.

Trailer to Camp Hughes Rest stop, just 5 mins west of the #1 and #5 corner. Unload on the North side, then follow the old highway to the south across #1 and take your first road heading south all the way until you hit the big power lines....from there head east and lots of trails to go on from that point, and pretty hard to get to lost, as you will hit tracks sooner or later!
