So where is this camp ground and what does it have. Will I be able to park LeCaptians camper there... Does it cost anything and should I reserve?

Who is going to be there Friday night?

It's "about" 10 km's back from the marchand park (baseball diamonds)...doesn't have electricity or water...bring lots of bug spray!!

It's free as well as firewood...I'll be there Friday morning...and again friday night..I took the day off..

If you have GPS - I can post a track with the Wilderness Park as a waypoint..

Don't have a GPS so yeah maybe I will just drive around and see if I can find it. Is it the road behind the baseball diamond and follow that or what?

Here's a picture of my GPS track...it's not the best...

Here are directions: go past the ball diamonds to the stop sign...turn left...go until the road curves to the right...there is a sign saying "Marchand Wilderness Park" I believe...it goes back into the bush a ways...

what time on Friday are you heading out there?

Get off work at 2:30 so I hope to be there around 9 ish depends what time i leave and how long I will be in ste anne for

the marchand weekend is the weekend of June 13 & 14 - the same weekend as the Derby.

Is there a Dumping station there also? To dump out the holding tanks?

at the camping area there is nothing.. a man made beach in the middle of an area.. very nice

GOTMUD find out if there is anywhere to Dump the septic tanks from the RVs please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No dumping station, nice play structure, swimming hole, outhouses and fire wood, trails all around it, very easy to find, just drive past the base ball diamonds and turn left. Follow the signs. Maybe 3-4 k past the diamonds. Like Wildman says, lots of room at the diamonds

Well Me and Toys are going to Camp at GOTMUDs place he has power :) we will swing in to party with you guys :) Plus I owe Chef a beer for the tug last weekend

Well I found out GNR offer free dumping open 24/7 so that is what I will do on the way home :)

There is also the treatment plant on the south perimeter to dump at.

Steinbach campground has power,water,showers,washrooms,internet connections,pull through sites,tent sites, and dump station.It's .5 miles west of McDonalds and 20 miles from Marchand.Linda and myself would welcome you.

well the park was suppose to be closed but we went there on aug long weekend and spent the weekend. had lots of visiters asking what was going on with the park, and as far as we know it is opened but the fire wood is at the baseball diamonds. they where still maintianing the water with chroline when we were there. hope it stays around for a little bit, really like it there other then the train going by all the time.
