OK...so its time to buy a quad...(insert ur jokes here and lets carry on ) ...lol... I have narrowed it down to a few...700 Grizz has got my attention...the non ps can be had for $7999 ... but guys say go with the ps...which is then over $10000...

Also the KINGs can be had for some good prices too...l

And finally the BRUTES which hold and loose my attention almost daily...something about em...Scottrods has some amazing prices now...but cannot decide between the 650i or the 750i ...

So let me know what u all think...pros cons etc...lookin for best bang for the buck...

also CAT could be an option but they are the one brand i am unfamiliar with...

My riding style used to be fast, deep, violated, stuck, and everything inbetween.and thats what i need the new machine to do...

(ok insert one more joke here...but be warned if u highlight ur hair...)

Whatcha gonna get if you sell that guy there TwoStroke??

Hotwheels, I don't have too much experience with many quads yet, but for your style of riding that you described, I would give Scott's Rods some serious thought, if for nothing else than the fact that he says he will back you up with warranty issues.

I must say, it sure looked to me like some of those Cat's sure have some good stock ground clearance too, which always helps!

If I was in your shoes the choice would be narrowed to a Grizz or a Brute 650. My personal opinion is that Yami makes a.....how you say "more reliable machine?" where as the brute is just raw power. i often looked at Yami as the Honda that never was.lol

Well I have ridden CAT and I loved mine and if I were you look at them very closely especially the 700 H1 efi WHOA. I now have a KING and bang for buck I love this thing so smooth and the power is there. Yammy is also a good bike. But BF are a nice machine and I also was on the fence with Kawa when looking at bikes. If you are going for mud go Kawa or CAT and for trial and mud KING. I built mine for mud and like i said absolutely love mine. TS and GM have brutes and they are awesome machines but it's what you build not what you buy :)

Well bud I have had my 650i for almost a year now, about 2200 km and have not done a thing to it, and every time I get on it and pull a wheelie on demand I get a permanent smile. I love my bike and would have a real hard time buying another single banger after owning a thumper twin!!! My only complaint is that I should have waited and bought the 750i with the EFI, but the wife said go buy a new bike so I could not refuse the offer. I have not rgreted buying a brute force once!!!!

Well just about every time I see you it's at a Poo dealer drooling over bikes. Even caught you sitting on a white one. Just not your color. Well what ever you buy I'm sure it will be a good choose. Just make it sooner rather than later so we may ride again. Sorry I have no words of wisdom I'm still learning. I really don't know what I will buy next. Depends on the wife and if I keep my sled. But that said the sled I'm keeping for two more years. I'm going to trade it and the quad in at the same time.

By your description of riding I say you should buy the 750I.

We bought our first cat in '03, infact it was our first quad. Now were buying a second one. We also bought 2 of their sleds since '03. Anyhow we do alot of trail riding, not a whole latta muddin, although some. What we have done, our 500TRV has got us through even with stock tires. We've had absolutely no issues with it, just general maintanence. Hubby just replaced a few wheel bearings and seals this past weekend. We are quite impressed with the Cat. My man reads almost every quad magazine out there and researches alot online, he said he'd also consider Honda, but we don't ride as wild as many of you out there...yet, so can't say what would be best for you. There are so many great machines on the market. I myself would love a thundercat!

A friend who fixes quads n stuff told us to stay away from polaris. Also we know a few people who have had problems with their polaris'.

Agree with ProComp, wait for the mudder from cat, I heard that it (700 efi H1) will keep up to the KQ 750i out of the hole but loses on top end.
