Hey again guys ,, n e one know what the compression should be in a good Tri-Z 250 engine ???? ,,,, just want to compare it to mine ,,,

120 psi on all 2 strokes is good

Ok thanx TWOSTROKE ,,,,, well when i got 3 wheeler fr buddy ,, he said engine was just rebuilt ,, so i took a reading and got 80 psi ,, and i was like nooo that engine wasnt rebuilt ,,,,,, but than ppl told me once it breaks in the compression will come up more ,, so a couple days later i did it again & now i have 125 psi !!!,,,

You should have a reading of about 175 - 180 psi after several kicks. Less than 150 psi and it will run like crap. Over 200 psi -- kaboom.

well i have 125 psi with about 4-5 kicks ,,, i notice too when i took my REEDS out that out of the 6 pedels on it i can look out thru 4 of them !!!!!! sooo im gonna have to replace them ,, but ya i find it works great now ,,, could imagen how it would work with 175psi + !!!!!!!!!!!

A 2 stroke will run on 120 psi great. Wore in motors have more horse power due to the lack of friction in an older motor. I had 150 psi and my tecate did not work due to compression issues.
Get that hunk of crap going yet?

ohh ok than im good for a while than LOL ,,, No i dont have it back together yet ,,, still waiting on swing arm parts and gotta get that engine side cover fixed ,,,,
