I just recieved this in my e-maail today. We can't let the stump humpers close this park to ATV use. DMPP is an excllent place to ride. I take my son there to ride, & learn about the outdoors & amimal behavour. Quadding is an excllent family activity & the DMPP is a resourse we all need to keep free & open to all users.
Just my 2 cents...

Hi everyone;

Spread this one around to as many quadders as you know.

(DMPP is Duck Mounrtain Provincial Park and TWG is the trails working group under the )

Subject: DMPP TWG Meeting 2

Hello to all,

For those who were unable to attend - we had a second successful meeting of the TWG on Monday. I will issue notes next week.

Please mark your calendars – on July 12 we will be holding three Open House events, one each at Childs(9-11), East Blue(1-3), and Wellman Lake(6-8) with the general intent of asking park users their thoughts on ATV use in the park. These events will essentially conclude our initial phase of qualitative information gathering, so that we can move into more working-type sessions and more quantitative information gathering (as required) with the TWG in September.

Please plan on attending at least one of the Open House events if possible as it always good to hear first hand comments from the general public. I’ll circulate a sign up request when I send out the notes next week, as well as a draft Survey that we’ll use to gather people’s thoughts at the Open House.

That will be a piss off for moose hunters who use the designated routes. Going to be a pain in the but to pull a big monster out by hand! I'm sure they would change their tune also if a fire sparked up and they needed quads to bring in supplies. I can't see a ban happening. But you never know...
