X2 on specialty tire...thats where I got mine...

I've used chains for about 10 years plowing snow (some crazy deep) with my King Quad. Its nearly unstoppable with chains on all four corners...

you can of course get high centered and that will stop anything...

for that I carry (no sh-t) 1000 ft of of synthetic rope (I got a deal ) if I travelling on the lake....

cause that tree you need to winch to can be 1050 ft away

I air the tires down, put on the chains...tight... and then air up to about 20 psi.. the tires expand to keep the chains tight... otherwise they'll beat the frame of the quad to pieces as you speed up.
