Seddons Pit Closed ?

Have been hearing rumors that the pit at Seddons corner is closed to all traffic bikes, quads. I heard there is some one working in the pit filling in part of the water hole.

Is this just a rumors or is there some truth to this?

Hope is not true. Heading there on Monday to unload and ride the trails for the day. Hope to get some play time in in the pits after.

not sure about that pit but one of the ones to the east the bikes/quads are causing an issue and a lot of lost money to the owner who said "i will do whatever it takes to stop em", em being the guys riding in the pit, i guess his pit. he just crushed 15 000 yards of material for a job, left for a day or 2 and came back to it and it was all rode up, this was a job for the guy and he lost it because all of the crushed material was contaminated with clay and mud, not to mention all the damage caused by ahole's who wreck other peoples property, so he is pissed and rightfully so.

i heard that he was sourcing out "guards" from an organization that would not be friendly to deal with, so heads up out there guys and stay away from other peoples stuff and out of the pit that is working, its one of the east side ones, not sure which one, but if there is equipment there just stay away!!

use common sense and respect, you wouldn't want someone going into your work area and messing with it would you?

Well that is understandable. I hope that some sort of agreement can be made but I can see the guys point. Sad to see that some just don't get the big picture here.

If that's the case then I can see the day when those pits will be locked up like the ones on Garven Road. I'm not sure if the Seddon's pits are crown or private or a bit of both. I'm guessing it might all be crown because it's in a provincial forest.

i ride seddons every sunday and haven`t seen any equipment in there for about a month.There was a wash plant set-up on the northside of 44.Had a couple of buddies try and ride garven but were stopped in under 10 minutes by rcmp and told to go to seddons because that was crown land and they could freeride there.

some is private land on the east side of julius road. nd there might be one on the very west of julius road
