4th Annual Pilot Mound, Mound Fest Mud Bog

Again it is time to get out of the house, off that couch, away from home for a day or two and come take in the 4th annual mud bog in Pilot Mound for the Mound Fest weekend. The bog will be held on Sunday July 22nd. Registration will be from 12-1 and a tentitive start time will be 1 oclock. Come one come all and run what ya brung. Everything is welcome, side by sides as well. They will run in the same class as the quads. Three classes, same as last year, 0-500/501-750 /750 +. We want to try and have everyone go through at least twice and the fastest average time will be the winner. Pay out will depend on the amount of entrys. Pit will be same set up as last year, horse shoe. But we r goin to make the turn a bit wider and the pit it self will be a bit wider as well. Should have a couple skid steers there this year to help with dirt moving so we dont run into the problem with big holes like last year.

Entry fee for each class this year will be $20 per class.

Gate Admission will be $5 for adults and $2 for kids. Beer gardens will be there as well as canteen for burgers, dogs and drinks.

And just to help get everyone pumped up i will get some pics up this weeks form last years great turn out.

How many quads were in it last year. I am willing to come but hopeing there is a few quads there cuz i have a pretty far ride. Is there a camp ground close by

We had 24 quads last year. Was good turn out and everyone went through a couple times. You are able to camp right there if you like. If there isnt room there then there is a camp ground in Crystal City. Only 5 miles away. Just have to phone the Villange office to book a site in crystal city.

Good catch on that Vogie. Fat fingers and the keyboard sometimes dont work well together. Ya the middle class will be 501-750 AND the Third class will be 751+.. Hope to see ya there.
