Real easy to do, I bought the parts at NAPA in Steinbach. www.mudinmyblood.com Lots of input there and free to join. If you join go to the kawi "how to" section and type in spark plug wire mod. If you need help let me know I could come down and help out.

Cool...i'll stop at napa and grab one...must be a generic plug wire end right?? They'll prob know anyway...thanks for the tip...as my plug wire end seems to not want to stay on tightly to the plug, or for any plug i've tried.

Ya mine was a straight boot and the metal crimp piece is extra. You also need the end of the spark plug if need be just buy a cheap plug and screw it off. If you ask they will tell you how to do the crimp on the wire.

Update..... I did this spark plug wire mod and thought it was all fixed. Well once the bike got warmed up it all came back. With enough seat time to figure out it starts when the bike is warm. So now I have cleaned the carbs, replaced the coils, and even put in the stock CDI. It still does this. What else could it be. Please help as I am getting really frustrated at this problem.

Sounds like your carb vac valves are sticking. Try pouring a cap of sea-foam down each carb throat and fire it up. My 05 650 acted like that after i swamped it. Even after i cleaned the carbs twice.

It wouldn't explain the temperature issue but if its starving for fuel perhaps you should have a look at the fuel pump

Well I went for a short ride today with Crazykid and I had some fuel come up through the vent line, not sure why put it cleared up after that. It seamed to run fine the rest of the day, so here's hoping!!!! Thanks also for all the input.
