350 feet long 75 feet wide, 4 lanes wide!!!
apx 2 to 3 feet deep
Gimli Motor Sports Park
Looking forward for a few events this summer!!!
2 or 3 events opening season
We also have room for other events such as this vid???

We do have a swamp in the middle off our 80 acres that will be part of our circuit track one day.

Go on youtube and search for Battenfelder quad rodeo.

I've often considered driving out there to attend. All weekend long quad rodeo/obstacle course/team events etc. Team relay race looks like the best, about a 3/4 mile long track, hills, mud, sharp turns etc, your next team mate can't go until you cross the finish line. Looks like a blast.

I'm incredibly interested in those events, Would love to see some things like that in manitoba!

All great events! I think each area of the province should try and focus on one type of event and perfect it. Then people can travel across Manitoba for different events and see more of the country side. Making Manitoba an ATVing province is key!

Good job on pushing for events and asking the community what we would like to see.

Not sure if it is the same Renegade every time but that one black renegade sure seemed to have some wheels on the drags and the first bit in the water just seems to skip across pretty quick..

definitly would go to events like that and participate.the tracks look pretty cool with a bit of everything.

I would like to see a mini GNCC race. A track that has lots of corners and some fast technical riding. ...maybe a few small jumps.

An obstacle course or technical skills course (like motorcycle trials)

Also, an area for drag racing on dry ground too would be fun too.

I would love to see someone open an ATV park like in the US. The mud put is awesome to have but I owuld think some trails with mud and water, scenic would be a great attraction. Especially since we are getting more and more limited to areas to ride. I think people would be willing to pay a fee to ride the park for the day or weekend? I often think about this and could possibly have the land to do it close to the border on 59 highway. My dad has 6 quarters there so a section and a half (960 acres) But not sure if people would drive that far. And there is not much bush on it and really no swamp it would take alot of work to make it into a good trail ride.

for sure the kids coarse would haul ass.i have 3 boys and they would love that.plus if you can get them young then the sport will only get stronger.

Planning on a July Event.
Still in costruction stage,mud bog pit is ready.
Just have to fence in the grounds,gates to make it all insurable for events.
Alot of fence and gates were installed yesterday.
The 1st Event will be very well advertised.

ATTENTION MEMBERS
REFERENCE: WORK PARTY AND MUD SLIDING & GENERAL MEETING
DATE: Sunday 22nd July 2012
TIME: 10am
PLACE: IORC ATV PARK at GIMLI MOTORSPORTS PARK
Calling the general membership to attend, general meeting our ATV PARK.
We will discuss the further work that is needed to finish and have those help in the following areas: Grass cutting
Whipper snipping
Removal of tires
Removal of garbage
General clean up
Securing broken fence

If you can come earlier to do the grass cutting around the mud pit, it would be most appreciative.
You can if you desire to cut grass during the week days if you have the time, contact Mike Chudd at 204-642-3598 or Dave Dubchak at 204-642-8949, as we can make arrangements for you to get gate access.
We need to muck up the pit if possible, as a good tractor and either a towed disc or deep tiller is required to aid the mud pit as depending on the equipment to loosen the mud on the bottom.
Bring a lunch and plenty of water to drink. Depending on the weather as its forecasts for that day is 28 Degrees and sunny. So wear proper clothing.

nice big pit but its going to be really hard to make 4 lanes all even for racing. I've always found 1 lane and electronic timers are about as even as it will ever get. It sure would be awesome to run 4 at a time all even though.
