Did you guys line the bottom of it with clay? If so, how much, just a few inches or 6 or 8?

The side closest to the grand stands is all top soil with hard bottom. The far side is a bit of clay and dirt together. not sure on the amount we just dug the hole and put the stuff back in. The far side is packed pretty good once ya get through the corner so goin to be some fast times. should be a good show. I dug it different then last year cause we had problems with big holes in the bottom, so we packed it in a bit more and we will see what happens.

Well ladies and gents, tommorrow is the big day and we got almost 50000 gallons of water in the pit and looks good. Weather looks decent so hopefully we have a good turn out.

Once again Admission is 5 for adults and 2 for kids, kids 5 and under are free. Riders dont pay at the gate, they will pay at the registation table.

And again registration is from 12-1 and tentative start time will be 1 or just shortly after. Consesion booth is open as well as the beer gardens for afterwards.

Helmets ARE MANDITORY AND RIDERS WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IF NOT WEARING A HELMET. No if ands or buts.

CHEERS!!!!!

And for those of you that dont know where to go, follow your GPS or google it! ahah.. Once you come to PILOT MOUND turn RIGHT off the highway AT THE ESSO GAS STATION and drive about 1/4 mile and it is on your RIGHT hand side of the road. Big Tent set up and grand stands by the pit. Girl at the gate will tell ya where to park.

Well the day was good. Decent turn out, 15 machines, half of last year but still had a good time. Thanks to everyone that came out to play in the mud.

The day didn't go by with out a bit of carnage, an axle and a differential broke, two less runners in the king of the mud run. I have all the winners names and times and will put them up shortly. Got some pics as well. There will also be some video from the mud monkeys.

Had a great time, definitely be back next year. The course was challenging and fun, too bad there weren't a few more bikes. Lots of people said they were coming but didn't show up, oh well next year. Lots of spectators and great organization and on time. A few casualties, but made for exciting racing. Will get vids up asap. Thanks JP for a great day.
