Talking My new log splitter

This baby is 20tons of joy! I've got 12 cords of green ash to split and the twisty stuff can not be split by mortal man; at least not by this mortal. Some of the 8" rounds slow this splitter to a crawl!

If you are interested, $1800 an she is yours.

I love that Honda motor too! Relatively quiet and efficient. Split almost 2 cords on first tank.

In the crappy vertical video I get 18splits in 110seconds at a leisurely pace.

I rented a splitter from Battlefield last weekend. It was a SplitFire 3455, with a honda engine, that split both ways and came with two 'knives'. One just like in your video and one to split the wood into 4. I only used the four way splitter for my seasoned oak and it worked awesome. Super fast and never had to handle a piece more than once.

Nice splitter you have there. Is it home made?

No it aint homemade. Just like the splitfire it also has a honda engine. Purr like a kitten and splits like butter! I've got about 4 cords of the nastiest twisted up ash i've ever seen. Anyone wants the splitter its $1800. Anyone wants some ash its $200/cord cut n split.
