New Suzuki King Quad

Well its a 2007 700 with 500kms. I am so happy with it. Its a rock and rides mint! Changed all the fluids and took it out a couple times now. Just amazing how good it feels. Unfortunately I also bought a 2009 550xp Polaris. what a POS. Considering selling it asap.

What do you like better about the king quad vs the Polaris?

How'd you find one with 500km? Great quad. Great ride. Good power. And bulletproof.

I was a lucky find. I will enjoy it for many years. Any suggestions on mods?

I liked the 550XP. its newer (2009) but 4500kms. Just in need of too much repair all the time. perhaps its just a lemon.

cobra_cs will become famous soon enough
Most important is snorkel it. kq ha a bad location for the clutch exhaust. And as it is the hardest part to snorkel may as well do the clutch and air intake while you're at it as well as the fuel breather and rear diff vent. If you're running bigger than stock tires definitely a clutch kit. Enjoy your machine. I've had mine since new and it's going to roll 10000 km this summer. I love it and will keep it.

Ya that sums it up. Twin air filter, clutch kit (yellow spring and lighter weights is all I did) and rear snorkel. A bigger job but still worthwhile is installing grease zerks on the suspension bushings. They wear out quick in the mud. Also do the diff lock override mod and start in any gear mod. They are simple. Check nyrocatv tech tips for how to do all this stuff.

Mods

Thanks for all the tips. I got a UNI filter, it had an old dirty TwinAir filter in it already, are they washable?

I am going to start working on the snorkel and clutch mods this coming week.
