Might go fishing next weekend. Suggestions?

Thinking of taking my 15 yr old son fishing next weekend either for the day or maybe two days. I would like some place within two hours that the fish are biting and I can rent a boat. Some place that I would be able to get a place to pitch a tent if we decide to stay the night. Looking for catch and release for the most part. Doubt I'll keep any.

I just got back from Grand rapids, it's 5 hours I know, but we caught fish by the hundreds on the river there. Lots of options for camping out there as well. It was best described as insane, fish in the boat every 90 seconds or so with no signs of slowing down.

Know any camping spots out that way that would have openings?

There are a number of places in that area. We stayed at Moak Lodge, but they also have camping spots. I know they rent boats for cedar lake whish the campground is on, not sure about the river where the crazy walleye were.
I caught 2 freshwater drum in the hundreds of fish I caught, and they were more out in the lake and not on the river, if you stay in the river, it's all walleye.

Cook's campground as well and hobb's, all down the same road kinda, Cook's has tent sites and camper sites, electricity and water to a few of them, not sure how many though, tent sites are first come first serve, although you can call and ask before you go than they will save one because it's a long ass drive, my mom is the camp manager there at Cook's
