Depending on the weather I might join you guys. Have a cottage on Macara so can just quad over to the staging area. If the weather is decent though will probably be out on the water all day skiing.

The rain should make the swamp trail by checkpoint charlie a blast.

The rain is nice to see, as it will lay down the dust and fill up the water holes. Is this the trail to the east of the staging area leading off the road on the curve just passed Tannis Lake?

We are heading up the hill and over the rail line heading to White Station and the power line trail.

Have fun on the water !

Yes,
From your staging area you take the trail to your right to head towards the south end of Harvey lake. Just before Harvey lake, you will see a little rest area on the right side prior to going down the incline to the lake/. If you pass the rest area you went a little to far the trail is just before that on the right. This trail leads to I believe its the north bay on Gundy lake. It's a fun little swamp trail just be prepared to winch. It's not that far probably less then 5 km's to the lake and a nice view.

Sounds like its gonna be a great ride. Is there parking across from the husky? If not where would be the best place to park?

Had a great ride 9 machines, all great people, the stock tires had to work to get out of the holes so a few winchings. Perfect mix of holes hills and trails no one has been on much. Dust was not bad at all.
Thanks Dave for leading the pack, and the pop back at your camper, got home at 9PM.
