project 869 grizzly
Lots been asking about how its coming so thought I would throw up an update.
Just finished putting the engine back together. Had a stator grenade inside my crankcase so it needed to come apart. In the mean time I have my top end refreshed by our good friends at cv tech. I also had sent my head away to recers edge in az to have it ported larger for my new TB that I still can't use. More on that later. Going to be a bugger to make it work as the raptor tb is a mirror image of the grizzly tb. So everything is backwards. Not a big deal but the issue is getting a raptor tps to work with a grizzly ecu. Going to take some work. I got my pistons back so I am good there for quite a while and finally using the proper ones. My last one was not a good fit as it sat to low in the hole decreaseing performance. The elka shocks have been refreshed and updated to stage 4. Should be a good time. Barkers supplied a nice dual exhaust setup while running a Bazzaz fuel controller and a dyna ignition to let this baby rev out to 8200 rpm where it likes to make power. So now I need to put the plastics back on and do a efi tune and clutch tune and should be good for a bit. Will be working on the 54mm tb next week getting it to work and also making a supporting cage for my clutch so it does not come apart on me any more. Getting close but the tb and cutch are still months away from getting done. Then having a professional snorkel kit installed by Wend Enterprises in Brandon. The only proffesional snorkel jobs I have seen anywhere. Fit so well they are like factory.

Awsome build! I wish I had money to put into my grizz like that! Let us know when it starts kicking that renegade of yours if you still have it! Always enjoy hearing about your monster!

Yup. Wend came over and helped me pull it out of the dungeon.
The bike is up and running on its maiden voyage last night. Running well so far. Have to get the fan fixed and second rad hooked up as fan is not running 100% and she is kicking off some heat. Parts for my TB are coming as well.
