maybe just buy half of one. It should be enough to beat the can-ams lol The looks are impressive, its a twin not a v-twin, lots of torque. have to see the power to weight ratio and other specs but wow it looks nice. its pricey tooo so there has to be other things going on that we do not see yet. An 850 polaris was about 10g this is almost 14 mmmm we do not have all the info yet something to watch out for in the future maybe. And i was thinking of buying a can-am mmmmm better do more study i think

The look is growing on me. When my wife first saw it she laughed and said it looked like a tractor...lol

I'm glad to see that another manufacturer has put out a new quad in the crossover category. I'm concerned about what I've read about its weight though. It sounds like it's a pretty heavy quad. I guess we'll see what the final numbers are.

I can't wait to race one!

Cheers!

look on polaris's site, the scrammy 850 is 10900 canadian msrp i believe, could be out by 2-500 can't remember. Not bad considering the renegade 800-1000 is priced at least $1000 more. Man i want one.

I just looked at the Canadian sites for interest sake and....

Renegade 800 Base Model $9999
Scrambler 850 Base Model $10799
Renegade 1000 Base Model $11049

Renegade 800 XXC Model $12499
Renegade 1000 XXC Model $13549
Scrambler 850 Limited Edition $13599

The Scrambler 850 Limited Edition has a higher list price than the Renegade 1000 XXC model.

Personally I love the look. At first glance I was "ehhhhh...." but after looking at pictures of it and watching some videos I kinda like it.

Depends on how you look at it. For the added price you get a fair bit of extra's.

Limited Edition Features
•Stealth Black automotive style paint
•14" Matte Black Cast Aluminum wheels with Carlisle AT 489 II tires
•Electronic Power Steering (EPS)
•Custom cut and sew red, dark steel, and black seat
•Color matched painted suspension A-arms
•Color matched painted front and rear suspension springs
•Fox PodiumŪ X Compression adjustable front and rear shocks
•LED headlights
•Digital Instrumentation
•Handguards
•Color matched painted front bumper

The difference in price between the 850XP EPS and the Scrambler LE is $1600 retail to retail. If you were to buy Fox Podium X shocks for an 850XP you are looking at $2000, that would make the 850XP more money than the Scrambler LE.

Am I reading that right? Does the Limited Edition only come with Compression adjustments on the shocks? If that's the case, I'm not sure the LE model is worth it for $2800 more. I assumed the LE was the equivalent quad to the XXC Reny. Really all you're getting with the LE is powersteering and a bunch of fancy paint. Anyone that is looking for a performance quad would want shocks with HI/LO Compression, Rebound and Preload adjustments. You'd be better off buying the base model Scrambler and put Stage 4 Elkas on it.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's an interesting quad. I'd just expect a better shock package for $13600 .....hopefully it's just a typo!

Agreed! Fox seems like overrated hype for polaris. Strip that off and go elka. I'm lusting for a set on my grizzly.....maybe it would stay upright more!! LOL!! -Could be driver error, but I blame the suspension!!

I also agree that the more video I see of it the better it looks, but I still can't get past the way the front looks like a sportsman that nose dived into an approach!! I'd buy one and yank the headlight and put something aftermarket......
77ponies....mmmmmmm.........ponies!!!
