Thursday: SUNshine Girl Danielle is 20 years old and studying legal administration. Our girl is intent on having fun this summer before school starts back up. For Danielle, that means snuggling up on the couch and watching reality TV— in a bikini! OK, we invented that last part, but it sure did spice things up!

Friday: SUNshine Girl Ashley, 28, loves hockey, especially No. 93, Doug Gilmour. She even named her dog Dougie. Dougie must be getting a little long in the tooth — Gilmour retired in 2003! Ashley enjoys underground rap music and her pink shoe collection, which is above ground.

Saturday: SUNshine Girl Jessica is a blonde bombshell who loves to play computer games. Sunday: SUNshine Girl Sophia is an active Aquarius who keeps busy singing, watching movies, and going for walks. She says her goals are modelling and social services, but as far as we’re concerned, when this hazel-eyed beauty models, it IS a social service. The 23-year-old’s most memorable moment was seeing the Pope.

(Duke says: Ahhh another glorious weekend in the outdoors over and now it's back to the grind. *sigh* And only a few weeks away from September long too. Tuesday: SUNshine Girl Maycee is 20 years old and looks as though she is about to salute her loyal SUN readers. Really, it’s us who should salute Maycee. After all, how many other swimsuit models love hockey and dirt-biking? Our girl also stays in shape by swimming and doing gymnastics. What a gal!

(Duke says: So far the Sun is doing well this week! Three days in a row we've got some fine specimens of the female variety. Thursday: SUNshine Girl Vanessa’s goal is to create. Create what? We’re not quite sure, but we bet it will be fantastic! Her hobbies are dance, art and film, so maybe that’s a hint. She likes to spend her time off at the beach surfing. We like to spend our time off on the couch channel-surfing. Is that close enough?

Aside from the clothing selection today being less than stellar, though still not too terrible, this is probably the most promising week we've seen put out by the Sun in some time. Weekend Edition! Great weekend, except for a blown tire on my car on Friday which screwed up all my plans for that night. Alright, without further delay let's get to the girls of this past weekend!

Saturday: SUNshine Girl Wendy is 26 years old and has a passion for photography and writing. Her hobbies include ninjitsu and swimming. That’s right. Ninjitsu. Wendy, the ’80s called and they want their favourite martial art back. Wait a minute, she was only four years old in the ’80s. Looks like ninjas are making a comeback.

Monday: SUNshine Girl Breigh wants to get into your head. The 19-year-old is aiming to get a doctorate in psychology, and would like someday to design her own research studies. We can’t think of anything more inviting than to be closely studied by Breigh.
