If you are ever close to Kildonan Place, there is a kiosk there that can change your glass. Might be other places around also. Think I over heard them telling someone around $40

me thinks this is a better idea then buying site unseen from a chinese mail order house and having to wait weeks for delivery and then having to make the work yourself.
at least from the Kiosk it should be the correct one for your phone and only $3 more or so.

That sounds like it could be them, since Apple won't let anyone have Apple parts they all must be knock off's....but atleast you get your phone fixed the same day, to bad your breaking the law to do it.

I don't get it ... the article says the companies were raided but no arrests?

As long as they were not saying Orignal Apple parts what the problem here?

A company repairing your cell phone (as long as you own it and not on a contract) shouldn't it be OK?

People use after market parts on their ATV's all the time. And Arctic Cat doesn't raid your house or businesses selling aftermarket parts and take quad away or your parts inventory. (even if financed through AC)

For those following the Apple / SamSung lawsuits this is getting silly. Just because an Apple screen is square and works with your device it must be protected under patents? (like saying tires are round and made out of rubber so if you put after market tires on your quad AC will raid your business for selling and installing after market tires)


If you are an aftermarket ATV parts seller beware!! what if they applied the same logic to your business (lol) Just to show you how strong/powerful the cell phone lawyers are.

I agree 100%, sounds like the rcmp are in bed with the electronics company. Do aftermarket companies pay a royalty to the original manufacturer?

Apple store Polo Park has a trade in deal take them your broken iphone ad get a refurbished for i believe its 169.00 thats what they charged me last time i shattered my iphone give them a call, i hope this helps

Have you talked to MTS? Most carriers will have some options in cases like yours (repairs, refurbs for cheap, etc). I hate Rogers and MTS, but I'd see if they have any options for you. Also, iPhone parts are actually super cheap on ebay. My buddy has replaced his battery for 9 bucks in his iPhone!
