I would suggest you look at the PitBull tires. We have two sets in stock however we can order any size you like.

25.5 Growlers for a 12" wheel......$575
26.5 Growlers for a 14" wheel......$750

Prices are plus tax and shipping to you. These prices are a bit lower to help move them out of our shop.

Check out the PitBulls on our thread, its full of reviews and videos.

I have an '09 Mud Pro and they fit however my shocks do no sag with weight, mudpros use the old school shocks. The newer cats use the ride in suspension and sag when you sit on the machine. This lowers your bike about 1-2 inches. That being said they might rub because these tires measure 27.5 or larger when mounted. The 26.5 would fit without trouble I'm sure.

Pitbull makes the best all terrain tire hands down and they work pretty good in the mud too! The growlers are a better trail tire they ride a bit smoother because of the tighter spaced lugs and you can brake the back end out to side easier.

29.5s will fit so no worries there.
If you like the XTRs a 27" would make a good package and they wear forever

I appreciate all the other insight, but thanks for making a comment thats completely relevant to what i asked. I like the look of these pit bulls but i have several friends with XTR's and they swear by em so im definitely leaning towards those, 27" id be comfortable putting on.

Like procomp said ... 29.5 fit fine . Id go with 28's , your bike will turn them fine and you will still have lots of room in your fenders.
