cvtech

since i blew a belt a while ago, my cvtech has been quite noisey. just wondering what the percedure is to clean the clutches out are and get rid of the squeeky noise.

also i'm looking for some new weights for the cvtech seeing as i upgraded to bigger tires. runnig 29.5s so if someone could point me in the right direction to purchase weights that would be awesome. Thanks

A spring can improve back shift, hold low gear longer or can improve up shift and acceleration. Depends on which way you want to go.

what do u suggest i do with the 29.5s? i do plan on getting a 2nd set of tires to just rip around with rather than having the big tires on all the time

i actually just put a brand new 650 helix in saturday and sunday it tore to pieces and the secondary spring melted into it. not sure how this happened.

if u have the cash buy a stm secondary if not add a dalton yellow black with a 800 or 650 helix,as far as the helix melting tips off this is usually caused by installing the helix against the base of the ramps in the secondary so it presses the helix down then will spin and melt it because it was no fully tightened into place i have seen this a few times or have had the bolt back out and twist the ends off blue locktight is a must, but if u can swing it get a stm and never look back

When i put the secondary back on i get bolt started and then i spread the clutch apart enough to see the helix is ok.Then i tighten bolt and then take out spread bolt and torque clutch. If your clutch wont open then you are not lined up with helix.
