S&b Cai

Installed the CAI today and wow what a difference in sound. Sounds like there is 390hp under the hood now. ALso debadge the truck and whited the post between the front and rear windows

Also ordered everything else i need on the truck today. On to the next project :)

nice intake
good choice on the paper filter.
got the bumper ram air on mine.
paper filter, some bad stories on the oiled filters.
i really like it.

those prices look good but I don't see one for the Ford 5.0 yet. Let us know if you notice any difference in mileage

I bought the Banks CAI from anythingauto .com nd I love it, They sound freeken awesome. Defnite milage improvement if you are not driving it hard just to listen to it.

i actually bought mine used from a guy at transtech in WPG
he had it on his 06 but when he went to twin turbos the CAI didnt fit.
the link i posted for S&B - you can buy direct from them
i emailed them for the paper replacement for my intake
emailed right back and i had it sent to Neche.

I have to agree with you on the difference in sound. When I installed mine I was quite pleased. I never checked my fuel mileage but I just bought it for sound and cool factor, lol. I also bought a Superchips but the only feature I really play around with is the trans shift points and it's handy for adjusting my speedo when I installed larger tires but as for hp gains, noting really noticeable. Still cool
