Bulk dog food

Wondering if anyone has ever bought dog food in bulk. My dogs are going to prevent my kids from going to college if I don't find something. Now they eat Dog Chow. By purine would like the same type of product, don't want something they won't eat.

I have two purbred goldens...we did the cheap stuff for a while...perina...never the dog chow. now we buy and mix the purina one or puring proplan. At 60 bucks a bag its expensive but they dont eat as much and the poop is less.

You can buy dog food at half price what it is here in the states...I could not believe it. At tractor supply, farm supply stores...and huge bags. only thing is its all corn based down there...we choose the 1st ingredience of meat...then go from there. If cost an issue buy a bag of semi cheap and expensive...they get the best of both worlds

Nature's Domain from Costco.
http://www.naturesdomainpetfood.com/...natures-domain
http://www.naturesdomainpetfood.com/ingredients
About half the price of comparable food and the quality is very good.
Comes in Salmon (blue bag) or Turkey (red bag) and sweet potato.
No grains or fillers added.
My dogs love it (my Rottie even has food allergies and its fine) and a buddy who switched over said his 2 dogs actually picked out the new pieces and wouldn't touch the old brand when mixing the two.

The only thing to watch with some of these "high quality" foods is they can still be very high in carbs (in this case the potatoes) and when fed to dogs with low activity levels...lead to weight gain.

I'll have to give this stuff a try. I'm not worried about them liking it, they'll eat anything, Lol

Ingredients sound similar to what I'm feeding now. The blue buffalo has no filler, corn etc either.

I feed my Lab Actrium Large Breed from Walmart. It about 36.00 for a large bag and its Holistic. He seems to like it and is as regular as an old fart on prunes.
