Rear Hydraulics on JD 2305

I'd like to add rear hydraulics to my 2305 in order to run a hydraulic top link or rear implements. I was considering purchasing the power beyond kit but I am not thinking of just getting a hydraulic selector valve and using my front bucket controls.

Has anyone ever done this?

Does anyone know of a good place to bring a tractor to get this done?

Just never hooked one up before..

Cool

Does JD sell the valve kit for that model? Maybe the best way to go because you could still use the electric selector valve to split between your top link and a couple of rear ports. It's what I bought to install on my tractor. Tracstar

They're pretty basic. I saw one where the guy was running five functions off a tractor with single hydraulics. It had a T bar handle with touch switches under the finger tips and thumb. He could just keep the lever pulled and move through the functions smoothly. Keep the valve body out of harms way and out of your way. Choose a convenient spot for the switch. Watch your hose routing to stay away from hot spots and rubbing hazards. Wiring should be basic hot and ground. If the valve is just a flip flop you will only need the one switch. Have fun.

Cool

Hope this maybe of some help to you camoman. This is how I hooked up my selector valve. This gives me a line to my top link and two spare ports. If yours is electric over hydraulic, make sure that the normally open position is used for your loader function. Tracstar

Thanks for the pics! I've been busy with a few other things lately so I haven;t looked into it much again. when things slow down I'm going to dig into a bit further again but for now I need to run a lift ona sickle mower so I am just going to get some longer lines and run it off my loader.

Whats the container in the back for under your valve mount?

You're welcome. The container is the fuel tank for the tractor. Tracstar
