That 650 looks great, Im sure it rides even better. Do you think it would be happy with turning 30" outlaws?
Thanks for your help on the weekend and I enjoyed ridding together. Both the 800R and 1000 2 up were a treat to drive, very smooth bikes, both have there place, (left and right side of my garadge lol) hard to pick but the 800 was a little more fun.

There is no doubt in my mind that the 650 can turn 30" tires. There was one at the mud bog in St. Jean running 31's on crush locks. Thank again for coming yesterday I really enjoyed the ride.

I like it but half to agree that they could have gone a different direction with tires, maybe a terminator?

Imports can't even put a set of mud tires on without being over the maximum allowed shipping weight (610lbs?) Notice it's just Domestics that have mud bikes or v twins?(Only Kawi's have 750 twins- but the bikes just get in under the weight limit with dinky stock tires & flimsy stamped aluminum rims.)

I had to read the info twice and I still couldn't find it - did CAN-AM not include a winch on this thing? That'd would be an oversite as they usually have a great XT package. No hand guards either . Otherwise I like it.

I would actually prefer the 650 over the 1000!!!! I would want the 1000 motor but I like the lack of airide and the shorty chassis better.

Seems like Can Ams are the hottest bikes out there & everyone wants them now so you'll see a lot of features missing on new stuff because people will dish out for the extras.

Nice machine! I think they will sell a ton of these units. Even tho the mudzillas wouldnt be my tire of choice, the mudzilla had its place on the podium in mudbogs before the outlaws emerged onto the scene. A tire like this on a 62hp quad will absolutely shred in the mudpit. No need for crushlocks here. Just look a few yrs back when Mike Walker from Minnesota was killing guys in mud nationals with his SRA kawi 650 with mudzillas. Now you might not enjoy these tires that much on the trail, but in a mud pit they will dig down, find traction, and get thru. So now the question is stock vs stock, which is better? the new 650xmr or the 700mudpro?

It is all about trying to keep the price down. They have realized that not everyone wants to afford a fully accessorized quad off the showroom floor. I read somewhere MSRP on this new 650 x MR was was $10,???.00 USD...... In order to capture more of the market they need to get their prices down. Things like winches, hand guards, and warranty can easily be purchased/added by the individual buyer. This is the way other manufactorers have done it for years. Lets just hope they don't begin to cheapen the actual components the bikes are made of.

an XMR with no winch ?? lol im guessing this is so they can come out with a promotion a few months later.... Free winch !! .... or free extended warrenty cuz we only gave you 1 year on this bike.

otherwise this bike looks good dont mind the mudzillas, there is quite a bit less ground clearance than the 1000 though. if you build it they will come

What the hell is the thing on the right? If its a pre-filter for the motor or belt intake there will be many many problems with this idea.
