mexico vacation
Anybody been to the Royal playa del carmen? Just booked it and wondering if anybody has been there to give feedback or little things i need to know

That should be a good time, esp if you like a party atmosphere, as Playa del Carmen is party central. Don't know anything about the Royal. We stayed at a place about 5 miles out of town and took a cab in for some shopping.

When i went to playa we stayed at the Riu Yucatan. Wa awesome! even tho we were there over spring break(canada's) it was not very noisy. I'm not sure if the Royale is right down town or not,i can see that being busier tho. Seemed like all the places we saw in Playa where clean and treated us nice. some pushy vendors are the exception lol

been going for the last 10 years never stayed but anywhere there is nice , Procomp's family and ours are heading down March break

Playa is great, make sure you go to xplor park for the zipline it was fun. Wanted to go back there this year but got overruled going to Puerto Vallarta Nov 30 hopefully back to Playa in february or somewhere else. Have fun.
