Advice on a good personal care home

Hello everyone, I am in need some help and some very honest advice. My dad has been sick with bad emphysema for the past 10 years and now has suddenly fallen into the early stages of dementia. He doesn't allways know me anymore and barely talks at all. Now with a very heavy heart I've made a decision with the rest of my family that maybe it's time we moved him to somewhere where he can be properly looked after and taken care of. If anyone has any positive reviews or expiriences with places that they can share with me I'd really appreciate it. I want my Dad to have the best, but I'm not rich enough to give it to him, so I want him to have the best I can give him.
Thnx everyone.

I work for a company that has a supportive housing facility. Residence Despins. Contact Leigh Anne at 480 2900. If she cannot get you in she can point you in the right direction. She is the Best. Tell her Damian sent you.

My grandmother spent her last years at Park Manor in Transcona. I can't say I saw anything there that concerned me.

Conversely, my great aunt spent her last years at Central Park. AWFUL.

Sorry to hear. It's tough. I've been there. Our grandmother was Bethania (spelling)?? On Concordia just down from the Hospital. She was there for about 6 years. we never had any concerns. Was clean and the staff were great. Take care.
