Anyone Using One Insurance For ORV'S?
Just recieved my renewal policy and there is no way I am getting it up the ass again from MPI. For a 2010 Vector LTX GT, they want $888 for collision and comprehensive with a $200 deductable on both. Basic premium, Snopass and vehicle registration is another $154. One Insurance wants $354 for collision and comprehensive with a $500 deductable on both. Does anybody have a policy through the the One Insurance Group? https://oneinsurancegroup.ca/frontpage/ I will also be checking out the Open Skies Insurance for a quote as well before making my final decision!

MPI's premiums, I have always been dealt with fairly on any claim I've had with them. However it did take a bit of time and energy! Like any deal you never take the 1st offer. |

Haha while the you get what you pay for is generally true, sometimes you're just overpaying for the same stuff. Not saying this is the case with the original topic.

So true. I've done a little more research and for a 2010 Vector LTX GT with a value of $9000, Open Skies want approx $311 for collision and comprehensive with a $500 deductable and One Insurance wants approx $354 for the same. Open Skies have been in MB for about a year and One Insurance have been around for about 3 years. MPI wants $888 for collision and comprehensive with a $200 deductable. I just wish someone could verify that they have a had a claim with either Open Skies or One Ins. with a positive result!!

I think it mite be a good idea to do a survey with all the local dealers, because most ovs go back to their local dealer for repairs and in most repair causes its the dealer that has to deal with the insurance comp. unless they are write offs, does any one agree,

Hey all, I purchased my insurance through OneInsurance yesterday and saved 391$ for both sleds and one ATV, I also researched OpenSkies, and noticed they had some early problems with claims in BC...however, after talking to the owner or representative yesterday, she said they fixed some of those concerns and have now had no problems with claims...OneInsurance has looked after my boat and house insurance and have been great to deal with on two separate claims....

Just purchased my insurance through One Insurance Group and saved $534 on my sled and $120 on my quad. The only thing different is I now have $500 deductable instead of $200. Also by dropping the Compehensive off of my policy, MPI managed to rape me one last time by nailing me with a $15 fee for both the quad and sled. It is called an "Insurance Reduction Fee"!
