Hey Fellow Atvers! Trail Clean up This Sunday Oct.28th

Okay guys & gals we are doing a trail clean up of fallen trees up by Seddon's Corner on this Sunday Oct. 28, 11am meet @ Seddon's Corner Esso.Chainsaws optional-if you can bring that would be awesome. Eastman Snopals is desperate for help so lets show them what Trackshare members/Atvers can do! There may even be payment of $12.50/hr per person but I need to confirm that especially if we get say 50 helpers

If you going to be bringing a chainsaw please be experienced with it. We don't need someone that borrowed one hurting themselves. We need lots of hands though to move the cut wood.

Hubby and I went in from 214 (Milner Ridge Rd) down the Betker. At first we thought it's not too bad...then we turned a corner...WOW! There was a small trail cut big enough for quads for a little ways, then they gave up and started making trails around through the bush. We managed a lot more than we thought we would in four hours with just the two of us, so don't be discouraged if only a few show up. There is about 1.5 KM done now definitely wide enough for the groomer, but didn't look any further around the corner. Apparently it is terrible on Betker from the Centerline in to the hut (opposite end we started from). Have fun clearing this weekend. It sure is a workout!

Sounds like we will write down names & #'s of the people helping us & with the amount of hours. We submit them & we may get paid hourly if volunteers would like some reimbursement. Also sounds like fuel & oil will be supplied for our chainsaws.

I'd be willing to go out during the week if people are being paid.

Give Wally a call @ 345 9664. He is the guy to talk to to arrange it for you outside of this Sunday's group cleaning.

89jeepyj is on a distinguished road
The 4x4 groups in the area ussually always do a year end clean up out there. There may be a couple groups out that day. I will relay this info let them know the plans. I should have my truck there and probably able to take a load of garbage back.

Got 'Er done! (ONE TRAIL ANYWAYS)What started out as 4 of us turned into 12! Cleared from Centerline trail to Agassi hut, then from there past the pond to where another crew cleared on Betker trail. Came across 2 quadders after we finished & they seemed pretty glad to have clear trail ahead of them.

Hubby talked to Wally tonight and he asked us to continue on down Center Line Trail past the Betkar turnoff. That's where we will be tomorrow.
